Vaden would go 8-11 from the field in tying a career high 22 points to go along with 6 assists in leading the 17th-ranked Hoosiers to an 80-56 rout of the Cardinals. Go Hoosiers!

On this day in 1938, a new sheriff arrives in B-town. The legendary Branch McCracken coached his first game as head coach of his alma mater — against the very team he left to become the coach of IU. Indiana would rout the Cardinals 54-28 and go on to a 17-3 record and 2nd place finish in the Big Ten conference. Go Hoosiers!
